🔧 Your Vibe-coded Website Looks Great, but It's Missing These Basics

Building a pretty UI by vibe or with AI is quick, and it looks very professional on the surface, but it shows its true colours the moment it hits production.

I’ve put together a pre-launch checklist so you can see how many things your site is missing:

🧭 SEO / Basic setup
sitemap.xml (a must for Google’s crawler)
robots.txt (controls crawler behaviour)
Favicon (the little icon on the browser tab)
Alt Text (needed on every image, for SEO + Accessibility)

⚡ UX / Performance
Loading States (a click needs a reaction, so people don’t think the page has frozen)
Compressed Images (don’t throw a 10MB original up there and drag the whole site down)
Custom 404 Page (don’t show people the default error)
Mobile Breakpoints (the mobile layout has to be right)
Form Error States (say clearly what went wrong when input is wrong)
Thank You Page (give feedback after a form is submitted)
Analytics fully set up (so you at least know whether anyone is visiting)

🚀 Only when you have all of these covered can it be called a truly Production-ready website
